Report: Employee Stole $29,000

A New Port Richey woman was arrested after she reportedly stole $29,912 from her employer.

The suspect, Ashley Grove, 24, worked at the Mobil station on Anderson Snow Road and used her position to make wire transfers between Aug. 25 and Sept. 12 into her fiance's bank account, including a $10,000 deposit, a report states.

Grove turned herself into the county jail on Oct. 24 on a charge of scheming to defraud.

Teen Charged With Molesting Fellow Student

SPRING HILL - A teenager was arrested on two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation after he reportedly reached under a girl's shirt and grabbed her breast.

The two incidents occurred over the past two weeks at the Explorer K-8 school on Northcliffe Boulevard, where both the victim and suspect are students, a report shows.

The 15-year-old suspect, who was charged as a juvenile, said it was intended as a joke.
