Jean E. Gjesdal, 77, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, May 24, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area 35 years ago from Long Island, N.Y.
Mrs. Gjesdal was a grocery clerk and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph J.; a son, Eugene Brecht of Florida; two daughters, Linda Torn of New York and Denise Zimoski of Florida; a sister, Nancy Davis of Florida; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
