Felipe "Conce" Concepcion, 94, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, May 22, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice House, Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville. He was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, and moved to this area 40 years ago from Bridgeport, Conn.

Mr. Concepcion retired from Bassic Company, Bridgeport. He was the founder of the Latin American Civic & Cultural Club and was a member of the Puerto Rican Club, Domino Club, and Hispanic Scholarship Civic & Cultural Foundation.

Survivors include a daughter, Vignette Robles of Spring Hill; a son, Joseph of Spring Hill; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Arrangements by Brewer & Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Seven Hills Chapel, Spring Hill.

Jomji Coonfield, 53, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, May 21, at home. She was born in Memphis, Tenn., and moved to this area 40 years ago from Tennessee.

Mrs. Coonfield was a waitress for many restaurants.

Survivors include her husband, James; a son, James of Homosassa; three daughters, Trina Stiner of High Point, N.C., Linda Morse of Crystal River and Brenda Shelton of Cocoa; a sister, Linda Gentry of Spring Hill; and seven grandchildren.

Arrangements by Downing Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Spring Hill.

Gary A. Metzler, 51, of Brooksville, died Thursday, May 22, at his home. He was born in Indianapolis, Ind., and moved to this area 15 years ago from St. Petersburg.

Mr. Metzler collected and worked on model railroads and was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his wife, Christina; three daughters, Sherry Patton and Christy Jarvis, both of Brooksville, and Anna Skelton of Waycross, Ga.; a son, Alexander Metzler of St. Petersburg; and four brothers, Steve Metzler of New Port Richey, George Metzler of St. Petersburg, and Steve Campbell and David Campbell, both of Indianapolis.

Arrangements by Turner Funeral Homes, Brooksville Chapel

Gladine L. Melton, 83, of Brooksville, died Friday, May 23, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. She was born in Casey, Ill.

Ms. Melton was a nurse.

She is survived by her guardian, Maria Kardos.

Arrangements by National Cremation Society, U.S. 19, Hudson.
