Soldiers Aborted
The U.S. doesn't have enough troops to fight a war like World War II and win, even with all the technology today. We don't have enough military troops to hold the ground that's taken over. Even in this country of Iraq, there are not enough troops to end this useless conflict.
President Bush has to send troops over for their fourth tour. It's taking a toll on our troops over there. Why the shortage of troops? Thanks to the Supreme Court for damaging our military force. Since they ruled in favor of abortion in 1973, there have been an estimated 60 or more millions of babies aborted. How many of those babies were males? I would assume about 50 percent were - that would have brought our military forces up to par, if a major war broke out.
If China or Russia were to attack us, where are the troops to stand against them? With the loss of those baby males that were murdered, the U.S. wouldn't stand a chance if such a conflict broke out and it could if the U.S. invaded Iran. We can't even guard our own borders.
And speaking of abortion, just think of the loss of all those who were born females. They could have become nurses, schoolteachers, etc. Abortion has done, and is still doing, tremendous damage to our nation's future, as we are feeling it today.
If we want a strong military force, we better stop these abortion killings. These babies could be our military buildup and release this curse that's upon us.

Serving Our Protectors
A law enforcement officer is many things to many people.
To the average law-abiding citizen, he or she stands tall beside them, always willing to protect them and their homes against the criminal, often at the risk of their own lives.
To the school student wrestling with problems related to growing up, they are a great source of comfort, advice and encouragement. A role model to look up to.
To victims of crime, they are there to investigate the crime, catch the criminal and take the offender to justice.
To the elderly resident living alone and frightened by someone seen or heard prowling around their home late at night. They assure the victim that they will keep watch and will come to their aid.
To the family of an elderly resident who wanders away from home and has not returned. The law enforcement officers will go out looking for that person even when off duty and relaxing in the comfort of their own home. They are happiest when they can return that person safely home.
The Committee Against Assaults On Law Enforcement Officers honors these brave protectors and desires the entire Hernando County community to thank them for all they do.
Just as their motto is to "Protect and Serve," our motto is to "Serve Our Protectors."
