Pit Bull Shocked With Stun Gun
BROOKSVILLE A pit bull dog attempting to bite a deputy beat a retreat when it was shocked by a deputy's Taser, a report shows.
The deputy was investigating a neighbor's claims that he was attacked, but not bitten, by the pit bull as he was retrieving his trash cans from the driveway Friday evening.
When the deputy walked onto the property where the dog lived, 21445 Campbell Drive, the dog charged him and attempted to bite the deputy, a report states. When pepper spray didn't subdue the animal, the deputy deployed his stun gun, but only one barb struck the pit bull.
Nevertheless, the dog ran away and hid underneath a bookcase in the carport. Animal Control officers removed the dog and two malnourished pit bull dogs in the back yard, a report shows.
