The person who died in a house fire Thursday afternoon was not a woman, as authorities previously believed, but a man.
His name is Luther Roy Williams, 50, and he lived in trailer No. 29 of the Tall Oaks Village north of Brooksville on Broad Street, across from Victoria's Steak House.
Early indications are that the fire started in the kitchen, possibly a grease fire, and quickly spread throughout the trailer, according to investigators.
There is no suspicion that the fire was anything but an accident, said Sgt. Jim Powers, spokesman for the sheriff's office.
