BROOKSVILLE - The Book Closing Road Show is a way for residents to change their party affiliation or register to vote in time for next month's primary election.

Hernando County Supervisor of Elections Annie D. Williams is teaming with Elizabeth Townsend, community relations coordinator, all day today. They will be traveling in the elections van and stopping at various locations throughout Hernando County.

The van is red, white and blue. There are no scheduled locations. The two will choose places at random from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Today is the last day for people to register to vote or change their party affiliation.

The registration process will take approximately two minutes for each person, according to a media release.
