The activities club Fourth of July dance, called Support our Troops, attracted a friendly crowd. The highlight of the evening was when Niki Levesque presented a check for $1,000 to Dee Mills for Lea's Prayers and Postage.

The generous donors were the folks at IBM Machines Co. - that will post a few packages. Thank you to everyone. The dance was organized by the multi-talented postmistress Niki Levesque, at the door were Dolores and Chuck Newsome, Cheryl and Tim Hobbs were in the kitchen, and Rebecca, the mixologist, from C's Pub, and especially all who came and enjoyed the dance. Once again, good music was provided by Vintage.
