Cathy Girgis, 45, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, July 2, at Oak Hill Hospital. She was born in Logan County, W.Va., and moved to the area nine years ago from Cleveland.
Mrs. Girgis was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Magdy; daughter, Ashley Nichole; father, Leon; brothers, Dan, Ralph, Ron, George and Mafouz; sisters, Patricia, Welthi, Samia and Sue; and several nieces and nephews.

Maria R. Minando, 79, of Walkwick, N.J., died Tuesday, July 1, at Evergreen Woods in Spring Hill. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to the area 18 years ago from Ozona Park, N.Y.
Mrs. Minando was a union delegate for the Office of Probation Family Court and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony; sons, Anthony Jr., Ronald, Stephen and Perry; brother, Joseph; and four grandchildren.

Oleta E. Evors, 86, of Spring Hill, died Monday, June 30, at her home. She was born in Ovalton, Texas, and moved to the area 23 years ago from Louisiana.
Mrs. Evors was a motel desk clerk and was a fan of NASCAR, golf and Florida State University football.
Survivors include her husband, James; and sisters-in-law, Myrna Cole, of Weeki Wachee, and Mary Stevens, of Punta Gorda.

Martha R. Kucks, 86, of Spring Hill, died June 30, 2008 in Brooksville.

Vera Marie Larson, 93, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, July 1, at Oak Hill Hospital. She was born in Minneapolis and moved to the area in 1985 from Fridley, Minn.
Ms. Larson was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She was a foster mother for 25 years.
Survivors include her son, William; daughters, Darlene, Sharen and Elizabeth; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.

Leonard J. Mazza, 88, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, July 1 at his home.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and came to this area 18 years ago from Queens, N.Y. He was a Catholic, WWII veteran and a member of VFW Post 10209.
Survivors include his wife, Gabriella, of Spring Hill and family.

Debra L. Lucas, 52, of Port Richey, died Monday, June 30, at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point.
She was born in Bayshore, N.Y., and came to this area 15 years ago from Selden, N.Y. Ms. Lucas was a cashier at Taco Bell and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.
Survivors include two brothers, John Lucas of Hernando Beach and Mark Lucas of Selden, N.Y; and a sister, Mary Spina of Port Richey.

Walter W. Leonard, 72, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, July 1, at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
He was born in Mount Pielier, Ind., and came to this area 11 years ago from Joliet, Ill. He was a heavy equipment operator, a Nazarene by faith and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors include a wife, Karen of Spring Hill; a son, Scott Leonard of South Carolina; two daughters, Kimberlyn Parsons and Davalyn M. Leonard, both of Aripeka; three brothers, Joe Wolf of California, Thomas A. Leonard of Illinois and Russell V. Leonard of Seattle, Wash; and four grandchildren.
