Eleanor "Ellie" Spruyt, 94, of Spring Hill, died Monday, June 30, at Hernando Hospice Care Center. She was born in Newark, N.J., and came here 30 years ago from Edison, N.J.
Mrs. Spruyt was a Catholic by faith and a retiree of RCA Corp., where she worked as a shop steward.
She is survived by her nieces, Eleanor Mele of Waretown, N.J., and Audrey Cherubino of Bridgewater, N.J.

Lura Isaacs, 91, of Spring Hill, died Monday, June 30, at the Hernando Hospice Care Center.
She was born in Red Lodge, Montana, and came here seven years ago from California. Lura was a Presbyterian and a member of the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include a son, Leon Isaacs, of Spring Hill; sisters, Ella Baker and Nan Ghormley, of Ashton, Idaho; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

John W. Lenza, 92, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Jun 29 at Hernando Care Center.
Lenza was born in New York City and came to this area 20 years ago from Staten Island, N.Y. He was the owner-operator of J.W. Lenza Oil Company in Staten Island and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Ellen (Peter) Tatar, of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; a grandson, Jonathan Tatar, of Spring Hill.

Gloria Desecki, 78, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, July 1, at Hudson Hospice Care Center in Hudson. Desecki was born in Chicago, Ill., and came to the area from Salem, Wisc. She was a homemaker and attended Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Vincent Desecki, of Spring Grove, Ill., and David Desecki, of Lindenhurst, Ill., a brother, a sister, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
