TAMPA - As the economy slows and crude oil inventories rise, gas prices will continue to decline, according to AAA Auto Club South.
The average for a gallon of regular gas in Florida as of Sunday was just below $3.10. In some stations across Hernando County, motorists can purchase regular gas for cheaper than $3 per gallon.
By comparison, the average cost last week for a gallon of regular gas in Florida was more than $3.14.
It is the second week in a row fuel prices have gone down.
