BROOKSVILLE - County Commission Chairman Chris Kingsley picked up the gavel Tuesday for his first regular business meeting as chairman of the board.
But he also picked up something else: Another challenger for his commission seat.
Republican William (Billy) Healis pre-qualified to run against Democrat Kingsley in District 5. Healis, who lives in Brooksville, could not be reached for comment.
Also vying for the District 5 seat is former Brooksville Fire Chief James Adkins, a Republican.
