TAMPA - A declining demand for gasoline is moving pump prices down little by little, according to AAA Auto Club South.
Due to reports of a slumping economy and job losses in January, forecasters are expecting prices to remain mostly flat in the coming weeks.
Additionally, crude oil prices are expected to move lower this week, according to AAA.
Gas prices in Florida dropped 1.5 cents since last week and almost 7 cents since last month.
The average price for a gallon of gasoline in Florida is $3.045 - nearly 6 cents higher than the national average.
