Motor Bike Crash Leads To Felony Arrest
SPRING HILL - A man on active probation for possession of cocaine was caught with a drug-smoking pipe in his pocket after he crashed his motor scooter into a tree, a report states.
Deputies say they found Anthony Brennen in the bushes by 2297 Waterfall Drive after someone called authorities around 4:40 a.m. Saturday to investigate a suspicious person. Brennen reportedly told them he had crashed into a tree when he lost control of his motorized bike.
A computer check revealed that Brennen's driver's license had been suspended five times and a specific condition of his probation was that he not drive, a report states. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license and violation of probation.
Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Sexual Battery
BROOKSVILLE - A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of sexual battery after deputies say he fondled a 16-year-old girl.
The victim told investigators that the suspect, Aaron Beam, climbed into bed with her on Dec. 20, and inappropriately touched her, an affidavit states. Beam was charged with sexual battery.
