Businesses To Host Art Receptions

Two neighboring businesses will host artist receptions on Thursday.

Nanette's Spirit of the Hand Gallery, 13157 Cortez Blvd. (near Circuit City), and Patio Paradise, at 7069 Coastal Blvd. (by Panera Bread), will each host a free wine and cheese reception for local artists from 5 to 8 p.m.

Spirit of the Hand will host Fred Mannarino, a contemporary artist and Spring Hill resident whose cubist paintings have garnered many awards. Patio Paradise will host Patricia Ritter, an impressionistic oil painter also from Spring Hill whose mosaic works have become her trademark.

Both businesses have agreed to feature artwork each month by members of the Spring Hill Art League. They bring the total number of Hernando County businesses that display artwork to 11.

The artwork by Mannarino and Ritter will be up through the end of December.
