Clarence Roland Gast, 88, of Brooksville died Saturday, Dec. 13 at Hernando Care Center. He was born in Chicago, IL and moved to this area 20 years ago.
Mr. Gast was a retired foreman and a U.S. Army World War II veteran. He was a member of the VFW Post 10209, American Legion Post 208 and Gideon's West Hernando Branch. Gast was the head usher at the Spring Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Craig of Brooksville, and two sisters: Helen Patenaude of New Port Richey and Carol June Greiner of Skokie, IL.
