A motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday night during an accident along Spring Lake Highway, paramedics said.
A Bayflite helicopter was dispatched shortly before 6:45 p.m. near Rolling Acres, located south of State Road 50.
The motorcyclist, whose name and age were not released, sustained a head injury and a broken finger, according to Hernando County Fire Rescue.
He was flown to a Tampa hospital.
