The National Weather Service issued a freeze watch for late tonight and early Monday morning.
The watch is for the Nature Coast area, which includes Brooksville and Spring Hill.
A freeze watch is issued when temperatures could drop below 32 degrees for more than eight hours.
A cold front was expected to move across the region Saturday night with a cold and dry air mass covering the region today and tonight.
People are asked to cover sensitive plants or bring them indoors overnight. The low in Brooksville is expected to be 31 degrees late Sunday, according to AccuWeather.com.
