Art Reception Set For Spring Hill Portrait Artist

Nancy Cooke Beltz will put her oil portraits of people and pets on display during a reception in her honor Wednesday.

Beltz is the Spring Hill Art League's featured artist for the month and will be on hand from 7 to 9 p.m. at Easy Street Home Decor, 848 E. Jefferson St., Brooksville.

Wine, soft drinks and appetizers will be served. Admission is free.

Beltz is a psychotherapist who believes that her special talent for capturing the inner person - particularly through their eyes - comes partly from years of concern and attention to people's non-verbal expressions, according to her biography.

The displayof Beltz's work runs until the end of December.
