The YMCA of the Suncoast, Hernando County Branch, will hold the seventh annual Run to Remember on Thursday, Sept. 11. The 5K Run/Walk will begin at 6:30 a.m. in front of the YMCA.
The event will be preceded by a brief prayer service and followed by a continental breakfast.
The Hernando County Sheriff's Office will lead the runners into the Seven Hills community, and Spring Hill Fire and Rescue will follow all racers to the end.
Runners, walkers and spectators are asked to join the local YMCA for an event that honors those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of Sept.11, 2001. Registration is free and each participant will receive a YMCA Run to Remember T-shirt.
Registration forms can be obtained online at www.ymcasuncoast.org or at the YMCA, 1300 Mariner Blvd. Spring Hill.
