» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

A Spring Hill man was arrested Wednesday after he reportedly snatched a purse from the front seat of a car parked at a Publix grocery store.

Investigators say Marcus Fernandez twice pushed the victim out of the way to grab the purse and fled the shopping plaza at Northcliffe and Mariner boulevards in a blue sport utility vehicle around 9 p.m. on Aug. 12.

Fernandez, 24, of 4203 Jason Road, was charged with robbery in connection with the incident and in a second robbery the following day. Detectives believe Fernandez could be a suspect in other robberies as well.
