Thomas "Tommy" Matthew Flanagan, 62, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, at Oak Hill Hospital. He was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to this area 14 years ago from Levittown, N.Y.
Mr. Flanagan retired from New York City Sanitation after 20 years of service. He was a Vietnam War U.S. Army veteran and served as a member of the Honor Guard. He was a member of Community Watch of Regency Oaks.
Survivors include his wife, Jeana L.; a son, William J. Flanagan of Gainesville; two brothers, Michael Flanagan of Pompano Beach and Matthew Flanagan of New York; and three sisters, Geraldine Guglielmo of Hauppauge, Long Island, N.Y., Kathleen Flanagan of Queens, New York, and Maureen Quintana of Freeport, N.Y.

Gary Paul Brewer, 77, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Tampa General Hospital. He was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to this area 25 years ago from Shreveport, La.
Mr. Brewer was a U.S. Army veteran, having served for 22 years as a SFC in transportation and a master welding instructor at Fort Eustis, Newport News, Va. He owned and operated an auto body repair shop in Shreveport and worked in refrigeration/air conditioning and maintenance for nursing homes in the area.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy; five daughters, Patricia Lynn Metts, Diana Lee Banks, Barbara Ann Ross, Carol Jean Woodman and Leslie Ellen Flowers; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

James Floyd Click Sr., 94, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Heron Pointe Health & Rehabilitation Center, Brooksville. He was born in Middletown, Ohio, and moved to this area 40 years ago from Ajo, Ariz.
Mr. Click was a World War II and Korean conflict U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors include a son, James Click Jr. of Brooksville; five daughters, Kathleen Lawson and Deborah Foster, both of Brooksville, Tammy Favaro of Burlington, Wis., and Christa Click and Rebecca Clements, both of Orlando; four sisters, Evon, Sharron, Claudette and Carlene, all of Kentucky; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Philip A. Gingras, 85, of Bushnell, formerly of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. He was born in Dracut, Mass.
Mr. Gingras was a Catholic by faith and attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. He was a member of the VFW in Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Lorraine; a son, Philip Gingras Jr. of Salem, N.H.; two grandsons; a granddaughter; and seven great-grandchildren.
