A 20-year-old man was taken to the hospital after being shot in the thigh Sunday morning, authorities said.
Hernando County Sheriff's deputies responded to the 19000 block of Wildwood Drive, located two blocks north of Fort Dade Avenue, where they discovered the bleeding victim.
Michael Lisk was shot shortly after 4:30 a.m. and ran down the street to a friend's house, said Sgt. Jim Powers, a sheriff's spokesman.
No one had been arrested for the shooting as of Sunday night.
Lisk was responsive while at the hospital, but was not cooperating with deputies, Powers said.
