Recreation Department Seeking New Teams For Adult Flag Football League

Hernando County Recreation Department has announced that it is seeking new teams for its Adult Flag Football League. Games are held Monday through Friday at various county parks with well-lighted and maintained ball fields.

The Adult Flag Football League will hold a meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at the Community Activity Center, 205 East Fort Dade Ave. Individual players or teams that are interested should call Fred Kranz of the Recreation Department at 352-754-4031 or visit its Web site at www.hernandocounty.us/Parks_Rec/Sports/

Men's Softball League

BROOKSVILLE Hernando County Recreation Department has announced that it is seeking new teams for its Men's Softball League. Games are held Monday through Friday at various parks with well-lighted and maintained ball fields. A double elimination post season tournament is held, and umpires are at each game. Trophies for best overall record and playoffs are also featured.
