Nature Coast Festival Singers perform

WEEKI WACHEE/BROOKSVILLE/HUDSON The Nature Coast Festival Singers will perform three times for its Christmas Concert at local churches. The first is today at 3 p.m. at Nativity Lutheran Church, 6363 Commercial Way, Weeki Wachee; Dec. 2 at Christ Lutheran Church, 475 North Avenue West, Brooksville; and Dec. 9 at First United Methodist Church of Hudson, 13123 U.S. Highway 19 North, Hudson. Selections will include classical and contemporary accompanied by voices, organ and brass ensemble. A free will offering will be accepted to support the Ayer Endowment Fund for scholarships for music education from grade school to college students. For more information, call (352) 868) 6365.

Festival of trees

BROOKSVILLE 8th Annual Festival of Trees will be held Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Dec. 1 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the St. Anthony Catholic Church, 20428 Cortez Boulevard, sponsored by the church and GFWC Brooksville Woman's Club. Vender tables available, $30 donation for two days, which includes two six foot tables and two chairs. Event offers decorated trees by venders on display, plus crafts, bake goods, plants, jewelry, crochet, pillows, towels, jams and much more. Church kitchen open. Chanukah gift shop

Sunday blessings

SPRING HILL People Helping People, Inc. offers Sunday Blessings to about 100 homeless or needy people in Hernando County. PHP is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping by providing free clothing, groceries, transportation assistance and referrals to other help organizations. Christian life center events

SPRING HILL The Bridge Christian Life Center hosts an Open Mic Night and Coffee House held the third Saturday of the month at 6 p.m. Christian musicians and singers are invited to share their musical talents.
