Representatives of HPH Hospice (HPH), formerly known as Hernando-Pasco Hospice, have some important educational information to share about its programs and services. So when you're planning a meeting, members of HPH's speaker's bureau are available weekdays, weeknights and weekends.
If the location permits, speakers are prepared to show a short, inspiring video about the nonprofit agency. Presentations are generally 20 minutes but can be designed to meet the group's needs and areas of interest. These educational opportunities are provided as a community service and solicitation is never involved. To schedule a presentation in Hernando County, call Janet Clymer, community relations coordinator at 352-597-1882.
HPH provides care, comfort and support to individuals and families affected by a life-limiting illness in Hernando, Pasco and Citrus counties regardless of their ability to pay. In Hernando, the hospice has two team offices, a Hospice House and Hospice Care Center. However, most patient care takes place wherever one calls "home" which is usually a private residence, nursing home or assisted living facility.
