Hospice looking for volunteers

The HPH Hospice team serving residents of East Hernando County invites individuals who have excellent phone skills and a pleasant demeanor to volunteer to answer its office phones from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays.

Training will be provided and you will serve as the agency's first point of contact.

If you have strong organization and administration skills, there is plenty of filing and other office support work.

HPH Hospice has flexible schedules for its volunteers.

A two-day training session for these opportunities will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 18 with continuation on Thursday, Aug. 20 at the hospice office located at 698 S. Broad St., Brooksville.
