BROOKSVILLE - The Hernando County Chapter of Crime Stoppers' Dinner and Fashion Show Fundraiser promises to be a good time for a good cause.
The event will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. tomorrow, May 16 at the Brookridge Country Club in Brooksville and will be emceed by Sonia Gonzalez of Oak Hill Hospital and David Mickelson of The ARC Naturecoast.
This show will feature 12 brave men who will dress up as female fashion models and strut the catwalk displaying their creative fashion design style.
At the end of the show, one model will be crowned "The 'Wo'Man Fashion Model of 2009." Fashion Models include: Billy Healis; team Wal-Mart, Captain Mike Mauer; Hernando County Sheriff's Office, Randy Woodruff, Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce, John Druzbick, Hernando County Board of Commissioners.
Models will also be representing Explorer School, Unique Touch Massage, OMNI Circuits International, Brookridge Drama Club and Brookridge Women's Club.
The panel of judges and the audience will vote for their favorite model.
A fabulous dinner will be served and prizes will be given away.
A limited amount of tickets are still available for $10, fun and entertainment is included but no dinner will be served.
Proceeds from this event will go the Hernando County Crime Stoppers, Inc.
Crime Stoppers mission is to increase the safety of all citizens in Hernando County by assisting law enforcement agencies and to provide information which may lead to the arrest of criminals and the recovery of stolen property by means of their anonymous Tip Phone Line (866-990-8477).
