Tomorrow is the annual Chinsegut Birding and Wildlife Festival but from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. today Chinsegut will feature a seminar on Florida's hummingbirds presented by Bev Hansen and from 8 to 9:30 p.m. the nature center will hold their Owl and Bat Prowl. If you are coming bring a flashlight.
The festival will be held tomorrow from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Featured events will be live-bird banding, Florida bat talk, a butterfly walk, wildflower and bird walks, creating backyard wildlife habitat, puppet show, birds of prey programs, bird house building, bird games for kids, off site bird tours. Natural history vendors/exhibitors on site for festival as well as lunch vendor. In-service credit available for teachers. A schedule can be found on page 2 of this section.
