Rockin' barbershop style

Suncoast Harmony Chorus, west-central Florida chapter of Sweet Adelines International, will be presenting their 26th annual show called "Let's Rock" Barbershop Style on Sunday, Feb. 26 starting at 3 p.m. at the Center for the Performing Arts at River Ridge located at 11646 Town Center Road in New Port Richey.

The program will include familiar tunes from the 1950's including the likes of Bandstand Boogie, Rockin' Robin, and Love Me Tender. Each year, longtime director Amy Riddle leads the group in an all-new show. All shows are done in costume with choreography. In addition to the 24 members of the chorus, there will also be entertainment by 3 women's barbershop quartets: Coastal Chords, 4 the Fun of It, and Simply Un-four-gettable.

This year's show will also feature the Ditchfield Family Singers as their guest performers. The Ditchfield's are truly all members of one family who have become widely acclaimed throughout the state of Florida, and in many other parts of the country. They are well known for their close harmony a cappella performances and the variety of their musical presentations.
