You may want to grab a sweater or light jacket before heading out to work this morning.
The first cool snap of the season was expected to move in last night, plunging temperatures down to around 56 degrees at sunrise today, said Jennifer McNatt, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Ruskin.
It should only get up to about 84 degrees today and in the middle 50s overnight.
McNatt said there is cooler, dry air moving in behind the front which should keep humidity down, making conditions ideal.
Rain chances are minimal to none for the next several days.
"It's just going to be a nice couple days," McNatt said.
But don't get used to it.
McNatt said the hot temperatures should return by Friday, when it will be about 86 during the day.
