Brooksville - County commissioners will meet Nov. 10 to discuss approving a contract between the county and Teamsters Union 79.
Late Monday, members voted 133-7 to ratify a new contract, ending several months of negotiating.
The two sides had come to agreement on health insurance, a discipline policy and grievance procedures.
Employees also approved taking 10 unpaid furlough days this budget year. In exchange, the county came to terms on a displacement agreement, which protects seniority workers.
In all, there are some 525 employees represented by the Teamsters.
