Spring Hill - A man was arrested outside a bar Wednesday morning after pulling a knife on a group of patrons in a parking lot, deputies said.
Timothy Walker, 27, of Albany, Ga., was charged with aggravated assault.
The Hernando County Sheriff's Office was dispatched shortly after 2:30 a.m. at Longshotz Bar and Grill at 1320 Commercial Way.
Deputies detained Walker, who was bleeding from his face, according to an arrest report.
Five witnesses told deputies Walker was standing by the front doors, broke a glass mug and ran toward them brandishing a knife, according to the sheriff's office.
The suspect told the men in the group to leave and let the girls go, then closed the knife and put it away, deputies said.
He pulled it out again and repeated his command, at which time one of the men struck Walker and took his knife, according to the report.
Walker was hospitalized and taken to the Hernando County Jail, deputies said. His bond was set at $10,000.
