Impact fee freeze and resurfacing a bike trail just to use federal money, what a ridiculous job these commissioners are doing for us the taxpayer and their employers. Hernando County, the highest unemployed county in Florida!

These commissioners should be putting all their effort into bringing businesses and jobs to this county and only then will we see our problems start to be solved. It sounds like to me if we freeze impact fees then a person that has a good job in let's say Pasco County can buy a house here for less and send his kids to our schools and continue to keep his good job in Pasco County, no impact fees, but helped the county get one more house to construct.

Our commissioners think more property tax money and this type of thinking is how we got where we our today. Somebody on our board of commissioners better start thinking about our unemployment rate here and trying to solve this issue instead of ways to spend our federal tax money on things like a bike trail that is just fine in order to get federal money.
