The holidays are here and HPH Hospice (HPH), formerly known as Hernando-Pasco Hospice, will celebrate its fifteenth annual Tree of Life holiday event to remember and pay tribute to those we love. In Hernando County, there will be three Trees of Life adorned with lights and ready for ornaments at agency's campus on Cortez Boulevard in Brooksville beginning tomorrow, Nov. 27. All donations support HPH's patient and family care programs.
People interested in participating in the program can stop by the HPH office at 12260 Cortez Blvd., between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays to hang their ornament.
Trees will be at the office, at Hospice House and at the Hernando Hospice Care Center.
Individuals can also place an order by calling the HPH Foundation at 800-486-8784 or going online to www.hph-hospice.org. Eight different ornaments are available based on contributions of up to $1,000 or more. To ensure that an ornament is placed on the tree of one's choice, orders must be received no later than Tuesday, Dec. 15.
There are also Trees of Life in Pasco and Citrus counties.
HPH is a nonprofit organization that provides care, comfort and support to individuals affected by a life-limiting illness regardless of their ability to pay.
