Boy charged with groping classmate

A Fox Chapel Middle School student claims a fellow student at the school inappropriately touched her numerous times resulting in an arrest Friday.
An eighth-grade Fox Chapel student was charged with lewd and lascivious acts against the girl, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office, after deputies saw video footage showing an incident at the school.
The girl claims the 13-year-old boy had groped her numerous times, but that she's been afraid to come forward, the report states.
Although the boy refused to provide a statement, a deputy claims he said, "It hasn't been more than a hundred times. I have stopped," when referring to touching the girl.
The Department of Juvenile Justice was contacted and the boy was released back to his parent on home detention.
