The Hernando Republican Party chairman, Blaise Ingoglia, called for Jason Sager to step down from leadership positions in the Department of Constitutional Protection, which he founded, and also from the Hernando 9/12 Project.
I would first ask Mr. Ingoglia which of the 9/12 principles and values he believes in. Perhaps this newspaper could print the 9/12 principles and values so each citizen of Hernando County can pause and reflect on what their core beliefs are.
Mr. Sager may shed his leadership role for the 9/12 project, but these principles and values define who he is as a person. It is ironic for Mr. Ingoglia to state, "Stepping down is both the moral and the ethical thing to do" because that is exactly what Mr. Sager is fighting for — morals and ethics.
Perhaps Mr. Ingoglia could spend some time in personal introspection as to what his core values are and not use the 9/12 Project as a veiled "ad hominem" argument against Jason Sager.
