BROOKSVILLE - The Spring Hill Fire Rescue District will seek approval Monday to build a new fire station at the corner of Noah Avenue and Santoro Street.
The station, about midway between Mariner and Deltona boulevards, would serve the central Spring Hill area, which represents 26 percent of the district's total call volume, according to a staff report.
The 6,800-square-foot station would have an office, sleeping quarters and two-bay garage.
Also Monday:
Golden Branch Academy will seek a special exception use permit to build a school for students with learning disabilities for grades ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
The school would be located on the west side of Bali Lane, north of Mariner Boulevard.
The planning and zoning commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Hernando County Government Center, 20 North Main St. in downtown Brooksville.
