Gloria E. Bowman, 75, of Nobleton, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, in Gainesville. She was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to this area 12 years ago from St. Petersburg.
Mrs. Bowman retired from GTE as a telephone operator after 30 years of service and was a member of Nobleton Community Church.
Survivors include her son, Ronald Curtis of Brooksville; two sisters, Frances Kocher of Perkasie, Pa., and Carol Fazio of Michigan; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.

Karl E. Drummond, 77, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Nov. 5, at Oak Hill Hospital. He was born in South Webster, Ohio, and moved to this area two years ago from Beavercreek, Ohio.
Mr. Drummond was a heating and air conditioner installer, Korean conflict U.S. Army veteran and a member of Mariner Boulevard Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; three sons, Michael Drummond of Goleta, Calif., Steven Drummond of Beavercreek, Ohio, and Karl R. Drummond of Riverside, Ohio; three daughters, Karen Sprague of Spring Hill, Lori Wampler of Dayton, Ohio, and Gina Humerick of Kettering, Ohio; a sister, Mary Lou Miller of Dayton; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
