Re: "Sick of Obama opposition" in the Oct. 29 edition of Hernando Today.

Carol Archambeault doesn't realize that here in America, the opposition will always want to cut down the presidents who aren't on the same page as them.

It's a fact of life that will not go away.

The reason there are so many pages in the health care bill is so that it confuses people. It's like when we are asked a question on the ballot and it is written in such a way that we don't really know what they're talking about anymore.

As for doing business with a handshake, that is something that should never be done under any circumstances - especially during recessions where people are losing everything.

If there aren't homeless people eating out of Dumpsters in other countries, why are we seeing just that on commercials? Also, if foreigners are so healthy and in love with their government, why do they infest America like fleas on a dog?

The reason people in this country are only interested in what's in it for them is because they have families to feed and were taught that charity begins in the home! Now, if you want to give money to the downtrodden, that is fine by me. Just don't expect everyone to follow suit. In this country that is supposed to be a right!

In this war, we the people sent no one overseas to fight. They were volunteers. I just wish that it would be done in their name and no one else's. We aren't fighting for anybody's freedom. We are there to take over.

As for telling adults what to eat and when to exercise because they are fat, this is not what America was founded on. That goes against everything we ever stood for. Besides that, I feel as though you are insulting the obese.

Telling people on welfare how many children they can have is another thing this country wasn't founded on. I have a solution. We could abolish welfare and watch it put the abusers out of business, and if the people who don't abuse it want to blame somebody, go to them.

There is a health care problem in this country to be sure, and a solution is out there. But until people in government are ready to take part in any plan they give us, I don't want anything to do with it!
