Many thanks
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church extends big thank yous for their flea market and bake sale held last weekend. Proceeds went to the food pantry, where it is greatly needed. The numbers are rising very fast. This past week they went up to 86 needing folks. This rise will get bigger with the holidays coming. They still need clean plastic bags, dry and canned goods. They do not need anymore egg cartons.

Tomorrow, Nov. 2, we bid farewell to one of our young citizens Kendall Hubert, who is the son of our postmistress Niki Levesque. He has joined the U.S. Marine Corps and will leave from Tampa. Our best wishes and prayers go with him.

Just visiting

During their visit last week, John Havens and his wife Peggy from Beaver, Pa., visiting his mother Helen Havens was just too short. They enjoyed a grand outdoor barbecue at his sister's Helen and her hubby David Marcum's home including Helen's daughters Stephanie and Rebecca Parsolano. Before this barbecue, mother Havens led them on a tour of Brooksville and the Christmas House. This was a very enjoyable visit since Helen Havens and the owner George Rodrigues of the Christmas House were old acquaintances who have not seen each other for quite a spell. They both belonged to the Spring Hill Noon Lyons Bay Club. After a few hugs where you been, what have you been doing? etc., they had a great tour of the beautiful houses.

More thanks

The Masaryktown Activities Club extends big thank yous to all who attended their second masquerade ball last Saturday.
