Brooksville - Two people were forcibly arrested during a fight outside a bar on Saturday.
Deputies were sent to Jersey's Bar around 2 a.m. to separate five to six people throwing punches. When they arrived, they said they found 40 people gathered in the parking lot of the Commercial Way bar and two people in a heated argument.
As deputies approached, one person ran west through the parking lot and a deputy gave chase. The suspect, identified as William Crowley, 24, surrendered and was taken to the ground and handcuffed.
Crowley named other people who supposedly started the fight, but witnesses named Crowley as the instigator, according to a report.
Crowley was charged with disorderly intoxication, along with criminal mischief for reportedly breaking a light inside a deputy's car.
In a related arrest, another deputy attempted to separate an escalating shouting match at the same fight. One person, Zachary Stevenson, 24, responded by pushing the deputy away, a report states.
After a brief struggle, the deputy gained control of Stevenson and arrested him on charges of battery on an officer, resisting arrest without violence and disorderly intoxication.
