BROOKSVILLE - Police arrested one and disbanded a crowd of about 100 at Wood Drive and Kings Circle on Saturday night.
Police say about 100 people were causing a "disturbance" at the juncture around midnight, but began breaking up at the sight of the officers. One heavily intoxicated man refused to leave, however, and refused to go home as officers requested, according to a report.
The suspect, Joseph N. Revell, yelled profanity at the officers and incited about 20 other people to grow unruly, too, a report states. When he refused to comply, Revell, 51, of 11 Kings Circle, was arrested on suspicion of disorderly intoxication.
