BROOKSVILLE - The Business & Economic Development Committee on Tuesday will discuss amending the county's impact fee ordinance, which hasn't been revised since 2001.
In its proposal, staff cites rising costs associated with development and construction and the need to recalculate fees based upon the most current costs and data.

Also Tuesday, Lee Ellzey, CEO of the Pasco Hernando Jobs and Education Partnership, will provide the latest data on the county's workforce, including average wages and top-paying jobs.
The Business & Economic Development Committee will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, at the Hernando County Government Center, 20 North Main St. in downtown Brooksville.
