Letter Carriers' food drive is Saturday

The Letter Carriers Postal Food Drive will be held this Saturday
Residents are urged to fill a grocery bag with non-perishable items and canned goods and leave them next to their mailbox prior to the time of regular mail delivery.
Items in need are canned soup, canned vegetables, pasta, rice and cereal. Food items should be in non-breakable containers, such as boxes and cans. The carriers will pick up the filled bags Saturday from each resident's mailbox and, with the help of volunteers, distribute the food to 25 local food pantries.
