The Show Palace Dinner Theatre in Hudson is holding auditions for their upcoming productions of "This Magic Moment."

Prepare a '50s or '60s pop song to be considered for "This Magic Moment." Sides for "Nunsense A-Men" will be provided. "Sisters" who are interested in "Nunsense A-Men" should prepare a classic Broadway tune as well. All ethnicities are encouraged to attend.
"This Magic Moment": Rehearses May 18 to June 5 and runs June 5 to July 26.
Role breakdown: Man 1: (Late 30's to mid 50's) Captain of the football team in the first act. Plays an overworked
businessman in the second. Must be a strong singer that moves very well. Think Perry Como or Paul Anka.
Woman 1: (Late 30's to mid 50's) Former student body president and captain of the cheerleading squad. A strong mover and a belter in the style of Petula Clark and Leslie Gore. Funny, charming and attractive.
Man 2: (Late 30's to mid 50's) Overworked businessman. Former nerd and president of the chess club. Handsome if not a bit paunchy. Great mover with a strong rock voice in the style of Jim Morrison or Joe Cocker. Comic role.
Woman 2: (Late 30's to mid 50's) Sassy housewife. Great comic actress. Former wallflower now living a life of domestic bliss. Strong musical theater singer that moves well. Comic role.
Ensemble: Three males, three females - Excellent singer/dancers who are equally comfortable singing solos and blending with a chorus. Strong musicianship required. Comic timing is a plus as these performers will portray caricatures and celebrities from both decades.
"Nunsense A-Men": Rehearses July 13 to July 31, runs July 31 to Sept. 13.
Role breakdown: Sister Robert Anne: a tough streetwise nun with a heart of gold. An excellent singer and comedian. A strong actor as well, capable of real sincerity at moments. Brooklyn dialect a plus. Must be able to tap.
Sister Mary Leo: "The youngest...as a novice she's brand new." A former professional dancer, always eager to display her talent. Young, impressionable, and easily led astray.
Must be able to dance en pointe and sing very well. An ingenue stuck in a sea of hams. Must be able to tap.
