Alfred Pilarz, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, March 26. He was born in Kelsterbach, Germany, and moved to this area 36 years ago from Montville, N.J.
Mr. Pilarz was a senior chemist for Hoffman-La Roche and a member of the German American Club of Spring Hill, Schlaraffia of Pasco County and Northcliffe Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha; three daughters, Karen, Lorilee, and Debbie; a son, Ted; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Rose M. Wheeler, 76, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, March 28, at Forest Oaks Care Center. She was born in Braddock, Pa., and moved to this area 19 years ago from Turtle Creek, Pa.
Mrs. Wheeler was a homemaker and a member of Northcliffe Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Harold A. Wheeler of Pittsburgh, Pa., John M. Wheeler of Lutz, and Mark A. Wheeler of Spring Hill; a brother, Russell Naugle of Gettysburg, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Carole A. Taylor, 70, of Brooksville, died Sunday, March 29, at her home. She was born in Paterson, N.J., and moved to this area 10 years ago from Kinnelon, N.J.
Mrs. Thomas was a retired high school teacher and attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas; a daughter, Robin Mack of Highland Lakes, N.J.; and two grandchildren.
