Administration Hellbent On Spending Us Into Oblivion

Published: March 28, 2009

These past few days watching the news programs covering the events up in Washington, D.C., I heard something that should scare everyone.

The Secretary of Treasury and head of the Federal Reserve wants the government to step in to keep certain companies from failing.

In essence, what he is implying is a form of national socialism.

Doesn't that scare the hell out of anyone? I know it scares the hell out of me.

Here we have an administration this is hellbent on spending us into oblivion. At the rate President Barack Obama is going, he will make the dollar worthless within a few years.

I know there are some people who say you can spend your way out of debt, but that in itself is suspicious thinking.

Let me put it to you readers this way: You're in debt; you owe a whole lot of money on bills. What do you do? Do you cut back on your spending so you can pay off your debts, or do you keep spending like there's no tomorrow?

The problem is we have a Congress with a leadership that is corrupt. They pass a spending bill that allows the heads of AIG to get these bonuses and then play dumb.

And they voted for it without reading it. How stupid are they to vote for it without reading the bill? It doesn't take a genius to know that you don't sign your name to something without reading it first.

What is worst is that Obama knew that the guys at AIG were getting these bonuses.

There are these tea parties going on across the country where the people are demanding that Congress stop spending like a bunch of drunken sailors.

There was one in Orlando this past weekend that a few thousand people attended. Perhaps we need one in the Tampa area as well.

I would like to see it happen. What about you?
