Daniel W. Brought, 74, of Brooksville died March 1 at Oak Hill Hospital. Mr. Brought was born in Mifflin, Pa. and came to this area 23 years ago.
He is survived by his family.
John P. Oswald, 61, of Spring Hill died March 3 at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa. He was born in Montreal, Ca. and came to this area 6 1/2 years ago from Jacksonville. Mr. Oswald was a teacher, U.S. Navy Veteran, Sunday school teacher and a member of First United Methodist Church of Spring Hill.
Survivors include: his wife: Jeannie; sons: Jason Oswald of Jacksonville, Richard Myers of Little Rock, Ark., John Myers, Benton, Ark.; daughter: Nicole Diaz of Jacksonville; stepdaughter: Merrilee Conner of Spring Hill; sister: Harriet O'Conner of Silver Springs, Md.; and four grandchildren.

Arrangements by Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel.

Billy Ray Eagle, 75, of Spring Hill died March 2 at Hernando Pasco Hospice Care Center in Brooksville. Mr. Eagle was born in Gray, Ky. and came to this area seven years ago from West Palm Beach. He was a retired Master Electrician for Eagle Electric, U.S. Navy Veteran, awarded the Navy Occupation Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 728 in West Palm Beach, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 728 and was Protestant by faith.

Survivors include: his son, Larry Ray Eagle of Spring Hill; daughter: Angela Lee Parsons of Spring Hill and five grandchildren.

Elizabeth E. McBride, 84, of Spring Hill died March 2 at home. Mrs. McBride was born in Hockessin, Del. and came to this area 14 years ago from West Grove, Pa. She was a member of the Anchor Baptist Church of Brooksville. She retired from Crosslands Retirement Center in Kenneth Square, Pa.

Survivors include: her husband, Roscoe D.; two daughters: Agnes Latham of Williamsburg, Pa. and Tammy Troupe of Schnecksville, Pa.; and son Guy Sheffler of Newark Del.

Walter P. Stachowicz Sr., 85, of Spring Hill died March 1 at Oak Hill Hospital. Mr. Stachowicz was born in Throop, Pa. and came to this area 22 years ago from Shelton, Conn. He was a World War II Marine Combat Veteran, retired from Town Fair Tire as a construction supervisor, life member of the Marine Corps League, member of PLAV, Hernando Boat Club, VFW and CWV.

Survivors include: his wife, Mildred; daughters: Arline Field (Douglas) of Peachtree, Ga., Christine Stack of Seymour, Conn., Lorraine Kapinos of Ansonia, Conn.; sons: Walter Stachowicz, Jr. (Jo-Ann) of Inverness, George Stachowicz (Maureen), Oxford, Conn.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Donald R. Kershow, 81, of Brooksville died Feb. 27 at Oak Hill Hospital. Mr. Kershow was born in Hicksville, N.Y. and came to this area 29 years ago from Long Island, N.Y. He was a retired truck driver, member of American Legion, AmVets State Commander, N.Y., and past Exalted Ruler of the Brooksville Elks. He was a member and past usher for First United Methodist Church.

Jack W. Reeck, 64, of Spring Hill died Feb. 24 at home. Mr. Reeck was born in Deerborn, Mich. and came to this area six years ago from Allan Park, Mich. He was Lutheran by faith, served in the U.S. Army, retired from Great Lakes Steel and enjoyed sports.

Survivors include: his wife Baerbel; son: Ryan; seven brothers: Wesley, Harold, Roger, Ronald, Barry, Dale and Roy; two sisters: Joanne Loughley and Sue Ellen Bray; and numerous nieces and nephews.
