BROOKSVILLE - Water service will be interrupted for about six hours on Monday, June 22, as the Hernando County Utilities Department makes improvements at the Cedar Lane Water Plant.
About 150 customers will be affected by the work, which is expected to happen between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. A "precautionary boil water notice" will be in effect and the department recommends customers turn off their water heaters and sprinkler systems.
Questions regarding the water service interruption or the precautionary boil water procedures may be referred to the customer service division of the Hernando County Utilities Department by calling 352-754-4037.
